Pritchards has been part of the high street since 1836.
As an independent menswear retailer, we have always focused on doing a few things well: offering great clothing, working with brands we believe in and giving our customers a level of service that feels personal.
From our long-standing store in Hereford to our shop on The Promenade in Cheltenham, we stock a carefully selected range of menswear from names including Paul Smith, Belstaff, Eton, GANT, Fred Perry, Barbour, Sunspel, Filson, Oliver Sweeney, Rains and Lacoste.
Pritchards is now owned and run by Luke Turner and Chris Lane, both of whom have spent many years with the business and know it inside out. Our aim is simple: to respect what has made Pritchards successful for so long, while continuing to move the business forward.
Alongside our main collections, we also offer a made-to-measure suiting service for weddings, work, special occasions or anyone looking for something a little more personal.
For us, good retail has always been about more than the clothes. It is about knowing our customers, offering honest advice and creating the sort of service that keeps people coming back. 190 years on, that is still what Pritchards is about.
What we stand for
We have never believed in filling our stores for the sake of it. Everything we stock is chosen because we believe it deserves to be there. That means working with brands known for quality, style and longevity, while making sure there is always something new to discover.
Just as important is the service behind it. We want our customers to feel comfortable asking for advice, trying something different and taking their time. Whether someone is looking for a new jacket, a wedding suit or simply a great pair of jeans, we want them to leave feeling confident in what they have bought.
That personal approach has been part of Pritchards for generations, and it remains at the heart of what we do today.
